Pass thru type monorail or structural machines use various types of finger seals seals for the cabinet and vestibule openings. These finger seals act as a containment device for abrasives while allowing parts and ventilation air to enter the blast chamber.

Polycarbonate finger seals offer good resistance to tearing and abrasive wear along with reversal of work capability with proper flex point work clearance. A minimum clearance of one foot from the work to the seal flex point is required to avoid significant breakage problems.
