In recent years a new style of blast equipment has quickly evolved. The in-line wire mesh belt machine conveys a continuous flow of small-to-medium sized parts through a blast cabinet to receive full blast coverage. This machine has become very popular because dirty parts are simly laid on the conveyor at one end and picked up clean at the other end, similar to a parts washer. The woven manganese mesh conveyor is a unique feature with this machine.
Since this conveyor consists of 2" x 2" openings, the abrasive blast is allowed to clean under the parts. This makes it possible to process parts inline in a single pass. Parts can be loaded by hand, direct conveyor, or by robots.
