Based on the production volume requirements and size of gears, Wheelabrator has a range of equipment to process individual gears in a batch style arrangement or on an indexing table with multiple satellite tables.
Whenever pinion and ring gears are processed in the same machine simultaneously, Wheelabrator designs the machine with independent (dedicated) nozzle manipulators. This ensures that each component is targeted by nozzles mounted at the exact required angle.
Multi-axis nozzle manipulators, complete with servo-based controls ensure that the nozzle(s) follows the profile of the pinion or ring gear being processed. Path programming is easily carried out even by a novice operator, given the simple yet powerful graphic operator interface.
