For blast cleaning castings attached to an overhead work conveyor, both standard and custom designed machines with roof slots are offered. Heavy wear resistant materials are used to fabricate the blast cabinet and replaceable cast wear liners protect the outer shell in areas exposed to high blast intensity. Rugged design blast wheels provide excellent performance in foundry environments. Sand and contaminants that are typical of foundry operations are effectively dealt with by efficient separation and ventilation systems. For high sand load requirements, magnetic separation is available. Control features maximize operating efficiency by allowing blasting only when a work piece is in the cleaning zone. Touch screen controls with diagnostic displays can be offered to simplify operation and maintenance.
