Consumables, equipment and the power of proof – Wheelabrator Vibro completes offering

Wheelabrator Vibro is now offering the complete vibratory finishing solution to customers following the launch of a range of new machines.

The Norican Group brand entered the vibratory finishing market in 2017 with an alternative approach to buying consumables, offering a more cost-effective line-up of media and compound in combination with evidence-based, laboratory-tested process solutions. The promise: save customers money and improve their processes with a service as readily available as competitor offerings. 

With the launch of its own range of equipment, Wheelabrator Vibro has now fulfilled its ambition of being able to supply a complete vibratory finishing solution spanning consumables, process optimisation and equipment.

The seven individual equipment lines cater for a broad variety of finishing techniques, including vibratory and centrifugal, bowl and trough equipment, as well as wet and dry processes.

“Before we entered the market, many customers experienced unnecessarily high costs due to vast ranges of complex, specially shaped and sized media. We have been able to challenge that long-accepted norm by testing and analysing our customers’ processes and demonstrating that we can improve results with a recipe that costs less. A lot of users of vibratory finishing rarely test or question their combinations, so just sending parts to our lab can make a huge difference to results and cycle times.

As interest continues to build and sales continue to grow, Wheelabrator Vibro – which initially started out serving the UK market – has now also been rolled out in Germany and the Czech Republic, where the team has established dedicated sales and service support with further growth planned.
