3N Lakering in Thisted, Denmark, is a coating specialist that offers complete solutions for powder coating steel structures across Scandinavia. Surfaces are prepared for coating through shot blasting. For many years, 3N has been working closely with Clemco Denmark (a distributor of Amapure by ERVIN), which is valued for its technical support and expertise in additives for shot blast processes.

Challenge

3N wanted to work with Clemco Denmark to increase the productivity of their wheelblast and airblast machines. A key problem was the contamination of the operating mix with grease and oil, which negatively impacting coating adhesion. Previous additives had not delivered the desired results.

Solution

Following Clemco Denmark's recommendation, 3N introduced Amapure. The goal was a consistently clean operating mix in all shot blast machines.

Results

Amapure offered clear advantages over previously trialled products:

• Consistently clean operating mixture
• Faster workpiece cleaning
• Shorter processing times
• Reduced additive consumption
Productivity increased noticeably.
