A perfect match for your DISAMATIC C3 - blast equipment that keeps up

Published

Designed specifically for small and medium-sized foundries, the new DISAMATIC C3 vertical moulding line was developed to ensure every foundry can be a DISA foundry, benefitting from state-of-the-art foundry technology and exceptional equipment quality. It’s the perfect solution for those foundries wanting to move from manual to automated production.

The DISAMATIC C3 can produce up to 250 uncored greensand moulds per hour and is ideally suited to grey and ductile iron casting (as well as other materials), with a mould size of up to 535mm by 650mm by 340mm.

With these parameters in mind, the following Wheelabrator blast machines would complement any new DISAMATIC C3 line perfectly, matching its high uptime, efficiency and output quality to make the most of the investment.

For a highly automated, continuous solution, the CT-2 through-feed tumblast machine is a great choice – provided parts are tumble-proof. The CT-2 is a new entry-level model in Wheelabrator’s powerful CT range, popular with high-volume, high-end foundries around the world.

Both MB and DTC barrel-type tumblast machines are suitable for the shot blasting of tumble-proof parts in batches. The MB features a particularly compact design – for foundry set-ups where space is at a premium.

For castings that are not tumble-proof, the HT hanger-type series is a great fit, offering batch-type blasting of parts that are loaded on hangers and transported into the machine via an overhead rail. The range is highly flexible and can be configured into almost any layout, due to its modular design.

Thomas Feng, VP OEM Sales SEA/AP and Global Product Manager, comments: “Investing in a DISAMATIC shows ambition and a desire to move to the forefront of technology. The Wheelabrator machines we have listed here ensure blast operations at the end of the line keep up the good work done by the DISAMATIC at the other end, both in terms of reliable capacity and consistent quality.”
